Someone Else's Bookshelf : Simona Elena

Someone Else’s Bookshelf is a weekly activity where I will have one guest every Tuesday to share their favourite books from their shelves, what they are reading and what’s next on their list.

Today, I am happy to have the fabulous Simona, fabulous owner of Sky's Book Corner (do check it out!) to share her story.

Hi, Simona! Welcome to Eve's Chick Lit Reviews!

Thanks Eve, for inviting me to be part of the blog.

1. What genre do you read most?

My favourite genres are chick-lit and romance. I cannot really tell you why, but I like romantic stories and happy endings ;)

2. Tell us about your favourite books?

Now, let me tell you about my favourite books. I chose five out of I don’t know how many, so it was a difficult decision, just so you know ;)

The first is Connectivity by Aven Ellis. This book is just amazing and Aven’s writing is brilliant, just the style I love. I actually love all her books and have been lucky enough to also Beta read for her. Connectivity was my first and I think that’s why it will always be special in my heart. I can relate to the main character and OMG William Cumberland is just perfect <3 My book boyfriend #1.

Next on the list is Paige Toon with Chasing Daisy. Once again,I love all her books, but this one is my fave. The story is gripping, vivid and dramatic, it’s a real MASTERPIECE!!! Paige’s writing allows the reader to really dive into the story.

Then we have One Hundred Proposals by Holly Martin. This story warmed my heart. It’s full of love, friendship, emotions and honest feelings and there are some great places to discover.

Carmel Harrington’s Beyond Grace’s Rainbow is one of my faves as well, because in spite of a sad and difficult topic, the book is a wonderful read. It’s touching, emotional and so vivid.

Last but not least, I have to pick one of Katy Regnery’s books. She’s my Queen of Romance and her books are awesome! It’s hard to pick just one out of her books, but See Jane Fall is just amazing. Great and relatable characters, a wonderful and vivid writing and awesome surroundings.

3. What are you reading now?

Reading now... I’m about to start Cupcakes at Carrington’s by Alexandra Brown. I’ve heard so many great things about her books and I think it’s about time I start. I plan on having Christmas at Carrington’s in my Christmas/Advent feature, so this is the first step in this direction. I can’t wait to read it, so curious!

4. Lastly, what book do you plan on reading next?

Next on my list is Christmas Wedding at the Gingerbread Cafe by Rebecca Raisin and Beneath the Moon and the Stars by Amelia Throne. I’m reading both for a blog tour and I’m in contact with both authors. I’m so happy Rebecca’s Gingerbread Cafe series is finally continuing, I loved the previous books and I can’t wait for this one!!!

Thanks for joining us today, lovely!
