A-Z Book Survey
Fab book reviewer and a great friend, Kirsty from The Love Of A Good Book tagged me in the, A-Z Book Survey and here are my answers :
Author You’ve Read The Most Books Of : Lindsey Kelk. I have read all of her books except I Heart New York. It's a shame that I have not read it, I know!
Best Sequel Ever : Shopaholic Ties The Knot from The Shopaholic Series. I loved the cover and the wedding-y stuffs!
Currently Reading : Christmas at Claridge's by Karen Swan. Enjoying it so far!
Drink Of Choice While Reading : A mug of Earl Grey, Rose or Lavender tea. Sometimes, a hot, frothy cappuccino!
eReader or Physical Book : Definitely a physical book! The smell and touch of a physical book, heavenly!
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School : Alex from the I Heart Series or Luke Brandon from the Shopaholic series! I would consider Edward Cullen too. A date with a vampire, fabness.
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance : Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. I used to think it's not my cup of tea but I was sooo...ooo wrong! The perfect chick lit story and I am still hunting for the PERFECT copy of Mini Shopaholic.
Hidden Gem Book : Change of Heart, a very beautiful story that even after three years, I still find myself thinking about it and remembering certain lines. I don't have a copy of this book but I have always wanted to get one. Borrowed it from a friend and finished it within two days!
Important Moment In Your Reading Life : Receiving my first ever review copy from Nicola Doherty and it's signed. Couldn't be happier! Another one, when Nicky Wells mentioned me in the acknowledgement of Spirits of Christmas! I even posted a picture of it on Instagram. I felt like a celeb when I discovered that!
Just Finished : The Proposal by Tasmina Perry. One of the best books that I have read this year.
Kinds Of Books You Won’t Read : Sci-fi or anything historical.
Longest Book : Breaking Dawn. It's more than 700 pages but there wasn't a boring bit.
Major Book Hangover : How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern. I absolutely loved this book and I could relate so much to it. Really couldn't bear to start on anything and all I wanted was to lie down, cry and daydream. No one could understand. Now, I'm busy convincing my mom that I need an actual copy of How to Fall in Love.
Number of Bookcases You Own : I have three small bookcases (3 shelves on each) in my mom's office, one in my bed room and two mini ones in the living room. A few storage boxes here and there plus a few recycle bags filled with books. Don't tell my mom but there are a few bags of books in her wardrobe. She hasn't discovered them.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times: I guess it has to be Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. I read the book four times but I still don't understand the story. Need some time!
Preferred Place To Read : On my bed, all the time because I can look crappy and no one gives a damn about what I do. When no one is at home, I would sit lazily on the couch with my legs on the armrest.
Quote That Inspires You/Gives You All The Feels From A Book You’ve Read : There are so many quotes from all the books I have read. I used to write them down but I don't have the time to now but I guess I would go with this :
“I truly believe that while love can hurt, love can also heal…” ― Nicholas Sparks, Safe Haven
Reading Regret : I would be honest with this. I regretted reading Entwined with You by Sylvia Day. I loved the first two books of the series but not this one. Sorry! I was really excited to read this but it was a huge let down. To me, it's repetitive and why don't just end it at book three?
Series You Started And Need To Finish : The Shopaholic series. As I have mentioned earlier, I am still searching for a copy.
Three Of Your All-Time Favourite Books : A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks, How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern and I Heart Paris by Lindsey Kelk.
Unapologetic Fangirl For : Lindsey Kelk, Belinda Jones, Nicholas Sparks, Alexandra Brown, Cecelia Ahern and Sophie Kinsella.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others : The Travelling Tea Shop by Belinda Jones. Cakes and desserts!
Worst Bookish Habit : I only buy perfect books. And I sharpen edges of my books with glue and a little of clear nail polish. I put all my books in clear plastics and some are wrapped with cling wrap.
X Marks The Spot : Start At The Top Left Of Your Shelf And Pick The 27th Book : Diva by Carrie Duffy. Loved this one!
Your Latest Book Purchase : I think it's Shopaholic and Baby. I really can't remember.
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late) : The Proposal by Tasmina Perry. Worth sacrificing sleep for!
