Jess has decided it's time to get out of her comfort zone and live a little. So when her best friend Bryony, a journalist on a gossip magazine, is sent to cover the Cannes Film Festival, Jess decides to seize the day and go along for the ride. Two weeks of glitz, glamour and exclusive entry into celeb-filled parties is just the kind of adventure Jess needs.

Reality soon bites though when Jess and Bryony find they're staying in a dingy hotel far away from all the action and Bryony's expenses budget barely covers a glass of local wine. Undeterred, the two women are determined to live like the elite and enjoy one fancy night out to begin their holiday. So what if they have to tell a few white lies along the way? It's just this once.

No harm done … right?

Lisa Dickenson is known for her awesomely adorable books and I am absolutely happy, proud and everything in between to be a part of the blog tour for her third book, Catch Me if You Cannes. The design of this cover remained ooh-so-colourful like her previous book covers, which I adored greatly.

I am so genuinely grateful that I was asked to review all four parts separately. I could talk about this book all summer, people. All summer. Catch Me if You Cannes follows the lives of two ladies, Jess and Bryony. They are on a vacayyyy to France and Bry is a journalist for Sleb magazine while Jess owns a café back home in England. Bry has to go to Cannes for some juicy celeb gossip. So, Jess decides to join her best friend for a little getaway since her life has been rubbish lately. French hotties, gorgeous hotels, fabulous crepes. There is nothing to lose and you only live once, anyway.

In Cannes, they made some new friends, found new men and might have embellished their lives a little. And those lies they tell are starting to ruin them. This is just the beginning and I cannot wait to tell you guys more about this lovely read!

Catch Me if You Can is as lovely as your yellow sunflowers. Forget sunblock, this is the only thing you need all summer. But don’t forget to slip on a pair of sunnies as content might be too adorable for the faint-hearted.

Stay tuned for the next review! Check out the other participating blogs!

Thanks for reading, you lovely lot! xo
