Blog Tour : Not Quite Perfect by Annie Lyons

I am so delighted to be a part of the blog tour for Annie Lyons’s debut novel, Not Quite Perfect!

Sometimes having it all isn’t enough…

Emma has everything she’s ever wanted. Her boyfriend’s just proposed and her career has finally taken off. And so what if her latest client just happens to be downright gorgeous? She’s getting married. Isn’t she?

Rachel’s married with 2.4 children (well, actually, 3) and life is all about trying to leave the house in a non-stained top. Once it was about skinny cappuccinos, cocktails and dynamic ad agency meetings. She wants her old life back, but can it ever be the same?

A sparkling, funny tale of two sisters and how often you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.

The lovely Holly from Bookaholic Confessions nominated me for this blog tour of Annie Lyons's Not Quite Perfect. Holly is a great blogger and she’s extremely friendly! Check out her blog here! Thanks for the nomination, Holly! Not Quite Perfect is Annie’s debut novel and it is now available in paperback. I like reading debut novels because they are mostly fresh and it’s good to try out something new! Really happy to be offered the chance to review the book (thanks, CarinaUK!)

Perfect is a sensitive adjective. To me, being perfect means being everything I am not. I would prefer to be not quite perfect. I am sure everyone is perfect in their own way. I believe in the famous line – Nobody is perfect. Imperfections are meant to be embraced. Some things are not perfect but I love them – accessories made from hammered metals, books with cracked spines, scratches on my precious items and faded Polaroids.

I have not received my review copy and I’m really excited for it! This blogging chain is a very great idea and I thought it would be very fun to take part. Thanks again, Holly! The book blogging community is like a family to me now. I really love being a blogger and I don’t plan to quit so soon. Can’t believe it’s almost three years! I enjoy being able to connect with authors, publishers, bloggers from all parts of the world and most of them are angels. The blog has brought so much meaning to my life and I cannot thank fellow bloggers enough for their endless support and love. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to prove it wasn’t all a dream. It’s surreal! The book blogging community is a very loving one and I hope it will not change.

I was the tenth and last in the chain! Thanks for reading and do join the conversation on Twitter using #NotQuitePerfectBut!

Thanks for reading! xx
